airplane tires on a mini

#1
Anyone ever tried using airplane tires?
I've found that you can get a McCreay 15x6x6 6ply ribbed rated to 120mph with rounded shoulders for about $90 new.
GoodYear has the same only speed rated to 160mph for about $125 each.
My old ladies pop is a mechanic at the airport near his house and said he might be able to find me some decent used ones.
Just wondering if anybody here has tried a tire like that. If he can find me a pair reasonably priced and in good condition I might try putting them on my DB.
Scary watching my current non-speed rated tires when they start to deform at high speed.

Any thoughts?

....I don't know, 600-6 tires would make a Taco 22 look like a Taco 100.
I'd definately have to widen the front fork.
