"fire supression system for large military aircraft" did a search on that and that one takes me all over the place.
"Aluminium is generaly used for aviation - it has flat rivits and is smooth for air flow.
I do not think it is for fuel as the ends would be sealed" I agree,my friend was given these by an other pilot. neither had a clue,I'm guessing they were found in a hanger somewhere.
Driving me nuts! I would really like to know the history on them and what they came off of. I would hate to cut one up and later find they were a rare find.
