Belt size photos

Ok so i measured it out and this is the belt thats supposed to fit. its kinda old. tell me what you think. it doesnt work very well...

You've got WAY too much belt. Measure the center to center distance of the two shafts, and diameter of the driven (6" or 7"),then go to gokartsupply.com and look on their belt chart for the correct belt.

i did! this is the belt i came up with and it happens to be the one i already have. So do you think i need one or two sizes smaller?

Yeah the belt should be just touching on the shaft (bushing on)

What size did you order? I got one that was a hair tight so the charts aren't perfect.

How far can you move your engine forward/backward? consider that when ordering another, that way you have some "wiggle room".

i can move it one slot forward and thats it. But im asking do you think one size smaller will work?
