Bonanza BC1300 Shock Length?

early Bonanza 1300 with the front mount pegs have the frame shock mounts welded on lower than the later 1300 Late 68 or so bonanza changed the frame design. The difference is only about 1/2 but the oem shocks are the same 10" eye to eye.

That makes sense...I picked up a 1300 from CL with 12" shocks on the back and it looked 'jacked up'...

My pegs are mid-engine plate, so I assume it's post-1968...

The serial number starts with a 1...10864xx...does that mean it's a 1971?
