Boonie Bike - Rear Wheel Removal

#1
Hi everyone, Don't have a manual yet, but was wondering how does the rear wheel come off. I want to dismantel the wheel from the frame, but it looks like there are two screws that mount into the brake area that are free spining. I am not sure how the back wheel comes out. The two bolts have nuts that are attached to the frame, and since I can't get those loose, I was wondering how do you remove the wheel. Thanks

When I was a fledgling young mechanic I had a boss that would point to me and say "animate," then point to the troubling machine and say "inanimate." In other words, we're alive and have the ability to out think the metal object. That's probably no help at all but hopefully an amusing philosophy.

That would be great. Thank you. I'll be waiting:thumbsup: I guess my problem is that other nut (3rd nut) on the axel. seems to be stuck on there. I will work on that Sunday. I hate those double nutted axels. I think I will use a regualr axel with bolt, washer and a spacer:thumbsup:

If did this right, it should lead you right to it. If not I 'l have to get my 10 year old to show me how.

Nope that was wrong... just (1) page of it. try this;

There you go, good luck. See my old thread for how to put it back together. I would recommend just abandoning the the original braking system and going with something after market. The L&P system seems to be working for me (lay and pray)
