That's a great blast from the past. You are correct. That would be a B&S motor.

You know I would have to say it's a 2hp but it could be a 3hp. I seriously think it's a 2 though.

That's a 2.5 briggs ,mower is made in 1950s or 60s

Isn't it amazing though, it kinda calls out to you. I understand not wanting to expand. I'd have a 3 acre yard just full of stuff if I did. :laugh::laugh:

I have a pile of old brochures for lawn mowers, chainsaws, tractors, etc....mostly from the 60's maybe some earlier....dealers catalogs also with color photos.....Is there any interest in that sort of thing? (besides me!)....Thanks, Frank Davis

I finally took the engine off mine and sold the rest to a vintage mower collector, he still owes me some small engine work for it.

Kind of a shame. That one was too nice to part out. Here's my Kooper Klipper. It's a 1966 20".
