DB with HF Predator & stock sprocket... chain length?

I know a lot of you have been there done that... what length chain will I need? I have parts on order & want to be ready!


Will I need the idler?

Wont need an idler if you get good chain that wont stretch like crazy. Just a half inch to three quarters play in the chain. Length depends on engine placement.

measure around the sprockets with a rope. The old chain will probably work if you have it.

Thanks for the rope tip. I don't have the old chain.... it's a new build, that's the problem.
