Digital speedometer cable

last summer i bought a manburen digital bike computer (china brand). it works really good, except its mounred between the tank and seat on my sears. my problem being looking down at it at 35+ mph. i was wondering if anyone out there has successfully lenghtened a speedo cable. i have a tubless fron tire, so there is no where i can mount a magnet to. i dot want to die trying to see how fast im going.

The speedometer is pretty accurate, if you measure the outer diamiter of your tire when its inflated properly. the only thing i hate is the cable is too short and that a bit of the screen burnt out. it was only $13 or around there. cant go wrong if you have a good mounting spot for it.:thumbsup: but is want to know if i can lenghten the cable.

:doah:bike is ripped apart for minor winter repairs. :hammer::grind:

well thats good to know, some places ive looked said not to change lengths of cable, keep in mind those were other brands. i hope your right about this:eek:ut::shrug:
