DIY Honda clone 6.5HP/Predator Hemi DIY billet rod Video

I am building my Predator Hemi 212 engine and would like a good video giving details on installing a stock length billet rod. I am also installing cam and springs. I found great videos for that. Flywheel is easy done that before. Any suggestions?

I have general idea. Unbol head unbolt rod push rod piston out and reverse torque to what ever specs are.

You need a special socket for your rod bolts?
Ring compressor?
I did it and my engine runs so it can't be too hard.:laugh:

When you say socket do you mean torque wrench?

I had to use a special socket on the end of the torque wrench.
Some may have a better tool box than I.

ARC billet rod bolts are a 12 point 1/4 socket you need to torque them at 170 inch lbs with oil on the bolts. But you will get a torque procedure paper with the rod.

I always mark my rod cap and rod with a scratch, a marker or something so you know the rod cap and rod are correct when you install them....not a have to.. just something that I do before I take the rod cap off the first time.

On that rod? Seems you'd really have to work at it to get that one backwards!
