Depends on if you want off road or on road. I used the original tires on mine as I think the previous owner put about 700 feet total on the bike. There is a tire I think called snow hog or something like that which some guys like for off road. Look at the tires in your size and see what type of riding you're going to do.
Thanks for the replies, I have the stock tires on but my bike had been sitting idle and the tires have weather damage, just hoping for a cheap alternative or maybe even some hybrid (on or off road) tires.
I bought these from the same guy off of ebay. Cheapest I could find, and they are beefy! I do ride on the street some. They're okay for the street, but they rock on the grass and trails! If you're on the street, go for the Carlisle turf master. I think Carlisle are the best priced tires for the quality that you get.
Its nice if you can find a 4 ply tire as opposed to a 2 ply .
If your on the street you will eat thru a 2 ply pretty fast .
I get a lot of tires at tractor supply when i see them on sale;
Have 2 bike we ride all over our rural neighborhoods !
That's the way I'm running them. I like the xtrac but I can't see having a square edged tire up front. The snow hogs also came on a carter brothers cart I bought, I always wondered what they were.
I read this thread and said.. ''Hell Yeah'':thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Now' I would like to try the X- Trac & Snowhog style.
All I see is FAT BEEFY KNOBBY'S.
Kinda aroused me ,
Yeah' I'm not right, i know.ut:
