Eric , you gonna love it I believe , get some high quality yellow foam carpet padding and add 2 layers to stock DB seat foam ! Use some spray adhesive and it'll be awesome !
Good quetion , my flooring buddy gave me a big piece , not sure , I'd guess 1/2-5/8" , I'll try to measure tonight ! This is a seat I made just to show the foam I used .

Just ordered a seat cover for the wife's project and Kerry told me about her new website. Now you can order without having to deal with Etsy. Can't wait to see the new cover and move on from the "parts gathering" phase to the actual build
