engine adapter plate install ???

Got the adapter plate from OldMiniBikes and it did not come with instructions ?? Where do i need to drill the 4 holes ? Also went with a hillard clutch do i need spacers to align it correctly ? Theres about a 1/16 gap between the bolt and clutch .. 212 predator on a doodlebug

The plate bolts to the frame on the 4 center holes. The predator engine bolts to the 4 outside ones on the plate.

Of course don't tighten anything down until your chain is aligned perfectly.

You gotta drill the holes with the plate flush on the right side of the frames plate.

Yes thats the one .. just wasn't sure where i need to drill the holes

Don't put engine too far back or valve cover will hit fender !

Got everything on there and the chain is about 4 links or so short .. can i get separate links ??

Spend the cheese and buy good (RLV) NEW chain , you need to buy 2 , they are 40" and one ain't long enough ! Also you'll want to make a spring loaded chain tensioner too !

Is it ok to use 2 master links on 1 chain ?

It'll work but then you have 2 weak links :laugh:

Napa had 10 foot roller chain in stock lol ill just use this for now .. thanks for the help !

It'll work , just stretches a lot that's why a lot of us use a spring loaded tensioner !!
