i recently put a filter and a volocity stack on my 6.5 horse briggs intek motor and it dont wanna run good at all... raw gas comes out of the carb and seems like it chokes out....but i put my stock stuff back on and it runs good??? whats the prob

I just had the same problem on my clone, I drilled the main jet out to a .037, I also have a header and hi flow muffler, wow, what a combination! She runs like a beast, I can't get enough riding time in now...I hope this helps, I really think that's what has to be done, take care, Kier

On some of the briggs Intek carbs they have a vent on the upper righthand corner flush with the mouth of the carb. if you block that off the motor will not run. You let it sit for awhile it will start but die out. The carbs on the Briggs Inteks are non adjustable and I don't believe you can drill the jet-I've tried and it didn't work.
