Getting my daughter started

Here's the two bikes I picked up for my daughters birthday. I bought the MBX10 first and it's new. A few days later I found the DB30 on CL's The DB had been sitting for a while. The owner had installed a new carb. When I went to see it, it started on the 3rd or 4th pull. Today after I surprised my daughter, I changed the oil, cleaned the filter and plug (carbon), put fresh gas in it. Started and ran better. Still not 100%.

I remember when I got my bike at 6 or 7. I TORE MYSELF UP with a 3.5HP Tecumseh! Man I did all kinds of wild stuff on it. My saftey gear was a t-shirt, jeans, and shoes with no socks! My Dad told me losing some skin made you tough and girls dig scars :laugh:

my son went from 2.2hp honda engine gx100 in dec and now he rides a honda xr70 dirt bike so the more she rides the faster she will want to go :laugh::thumbsup:
