Hi guys. Just yesterday I swapped a 6.5 hp Champion engine onto my Fox. I'm having one problem though: as soon as I start it it revs to the moon. If you hold the governor linkage back, it idles fine. The governor doesn't want to return the motor to idle.
I tried adjusting the governor by holding the linkage back and turning the center post as far counterclockwise as it would go, but it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem, and the motor now makes a ticking noise. Please help!
