OldMiniBikes member Dan E boy created this original minibike art, I saw it in Faith's Project Log, "Gen X Chick Gets Education" and could not resist adapting it to my slot car layout. I now have a minibike shop in Gravetown. Thanks Dan E boy!
Thanks Tom S! I love shooting the pics, then photoshoppin'em. That's after building'em, paint'em, weathering'em, I do have an eye for the ugly :detective: so I shit'em up pretty good:laugh: (unlike my minibikes which get detail treatment:wink Who needs Detroit when I got Gravetown - the model of all ghettoes....!
I've been trying to figure out how to post a video where the whole YouTube screen is in the post. I've got a couple vids to put up, sorry I don't have it right yet. But anyway, here is a slideshow featuring my outlaw country band Gravetown (I named my layout the City of Gravetown) we got a couple CDs, tour a bit. Song is by JP Koester.
By the way, all the billboards you see, except for the personal ones and minibike ones are actual paying advertising clients of mine. They use these on Facebook and their websites and ALWAYS get a nice spike in likes and comments. I also shoot the billboards in commercials on real roadways, using forced perspective to create an illusion of real size. It's fun! I've done over a hundred so far, and I'm getting business from all over the country now. I formed a subsidiary off my ad agency called Little Biggest City Outdoor, riffing off Reno's slogan of Biggest Little City In The World. So if you need any outdoor advertising, this is cheap!!:laugh:
That is the coolest thing I have seen in a long time!!! Your attention to detail is amazing!!
How about a video of the camera car rolling through town?

Thanks hemigremmy! Video is on the way, still filming, it is an epic battle of backgrounds but I am winning, so SOON! Like minibikes this stuff takes patience at every level. But I will tip my cards a little and tell you the camera car stuff looks amazing, I'm doing the car to car shots now. The goal is a total immersion experience in miniature.
