Have late 60's early 70's Fox Street Scamp

#1
Hi y'all. This is Jaramie looking for some information on where I could find a reproduction or old/new disk brake caliper assembly for a late 60's to early 70's Fox corporation Street Scamp? I have checked OldMiniBikes.com, but the disk brake assembly part#R9952 (which is the correct design) has too short of a mounting hole distance. I wanted to ask y'all if there is any OE replacements for my bike and where can I find them, before I purchase this brake caliper and machine a backing plate matching the 2-1/2" bolt space to mount the caliper to. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to OldMiniBikes.

Try a parts wanted ad.
Markg had some. Maybe try him.

We like the Foxes!
I bought a parts bike just for the caliper for my '70 Campus F/X, but then after that I bought just the caliper from you and put it on the parts bike and sold it to YankeeBears's brother.....So I had one for a short while but now it's gone:doah:.

keep looking Jaramie, they are out there:thumbsup:. In the meantime I would just take the one off of the front and run it on the back for now until you can find another one..

No parts, but here's a few pics of what it looked like once upon a time. Maybe you could use them for reference on your rebuild. Good Luck!!!!
