heres my other mini....it runs great....old school 2 speed transmission and all....the gx160 really moves it along quite well...

yes very true...the only things original are the frame the fenders the seat and the transmission....i wasnt after the complete restoration of a classic...I just wanted a mini with a wide ass back tire and a gx 160....the thing flies and its a blast to ride :D

I also have a boonie,I have brake problems, I would like to know is there a drop in replacement 5" brake I could buy, and I would like to replace the wheel in front with larger size and round tread, do you have any sugestions, Thanks

Jim is correct on the 5" azusa brake assembly...I put a 8 inch rim on the front of my boonie....my back rim is a 10"...I used a 4 1/2 " brake...it does not work very well. someone was bored surfing way back in time with this thread.

kbs8ball, I like what you did with the front wheel, can you tell me the size of tire and where to get it, also did you have to modify the fender bracket?, Thanks

4.80/4.00 X 8 got it at lowes...standard wheel barrow tire...just dont get the flat free kind. no mods were done to the fender mount. The rear tire is a 18 X 8.50 x 10.

Im contemplating putting a 5hp briggs back on it...I have a nice one, I just dont feel like doing it at this time. the only thing I should have done different on this bike is the brake..it should be a 5" diameter, with the 4 1/2" it stops, Just not on a dime.
