Thanks Markus, that 611080a, is that the same flywheel on these 3hp Tec Side popper engines? Got 3 or 4 of em in the shed.
Yea, They started to simplify production with the larger taper and all the small frames got the same parts. You can actually rob it all from one of those, You'll need the extension studs for the coil, the plastic spacer on the crankshaft, etc.. The shroud, backing plate, cup screen will all cross as well.

If you are lucky and have a 1985 to early 90's version to rob parts from, it will have the old school recoil on it instead of the fan type recoil which makes it not as noticeable that its a late model :wink:
