I think I've seen the MTD, it looks to have a slanted tec carb on a B&S. The one I saw here the dude had cobbled it on with one bolt and silicone, maybe not the same unit but?:shrug:

Yeah I've been in my Man Cave too long after dinner pondering what to do next, got a bit too relaxed and aside from me being a little fuzzy so is the picture, you are correct my friend it is a tec. I always liked those air cleaner assemblies. And if these machines were local I'd buy em for that money!:thumbsup:

I emailed the guy looking to buy the HS40 from the Rupp.. 150 is pretty damn steep for that beater of a 70 with no intake.. But I can use the motor if it's not wasted..
