I've been offered this Bonanza for 100, would ya?

I dont know squat about them, but for 100, I'm gonna grab it up, I kinda like the ugly duckling. I do know it has a "Bonanza" badge and also a "500" sticker on the front.
My questions are:
What do you know about this critter?
Approx. year? (Can almost read the serial number on the badge)
Anything in particular I should look at?

Looks like a 1200 judging by the front tire size, could be a 1300 also if the front tire isn't original. Definitely a later model with the kidney beans and mid-pegs.... Helluva score for $100 either way! :thumbsup:

I do love the rims, hoping the back one is the same style. It gets delivered to me next week. Its a customers and when he comes back to pick up his stuff for me to powder, he is bringing it with.

hehehehe, I havent seen it physically, he just sent me the pictures, he said he got it when he was little and he is in mid 20's now.
I dunno anything about them, I just like all minis

The 500 sticker isn't original. The fenders should've originally been chrome.

The engine isn't original anyway. That's a Briggs with an updraft carb. Nice bike though. I would have grabbed it for $100 easily.

Yeah the beans are worth a hun by themselves...that's a good score. The serial number on the badge means nothing...word is they just reached in a big barrel of them and grabbed whatever....no sequence to them...although some were silk screened and other years (early?) were stamped and have raised letters..

any idea on the year model?
maybe its a lighted 1300 and the original coiled TEC is loooong gone , so the lights got yanked.
I really dont know anything about these, should I restore or just get it running and treat it like another mini to abuse?
