Lil Indian wheel and disc brake question

So I have this new wheel for my Lil Indian project.


What disc brake will fit in between the tire and the sprocket?
I have 3/4" to spare.
I understand the original brake units for these bikes are more or less non-existent.


I figure someone out there on this site has already been down this road....

I called Allied Leisure today. I thought they might have some good information on the Lil Indians.

They said what I was afraid of; no current type of disc brake will fit.

I'm ordering a band brake then. Done.

You need to find a Lil Indian disc brake. Not easy to come by, but you can find them. They are not cheap:wink:

maybe someday I'll find that brake...

right now I just want to get this project up and running
