Manco 573 rebuild - new header

#1
Decided to rodo my manco 573 and started with engine. I wanted a header so I started bending 1 inch. I normally cut out the base but decided to just cut the stock plate off and use that flange. I surfaced the weld and punched the pipe out and started from there. I has an old chrome tip off a hot rod that was 2 inch. I measured half inch and slotted slits all the way around. I hammered all of the slits one after another into a fan which let the I'd of the tip fit the one inch outside diameter the header pipe.

No mud for this one. This one will be what I take to the car shows it will match my 39 truck. I should have my shinko white walls today. Once I get it all done I will be striping down down for paint. Thanks guys

Thank you jdogg. It has to be my favorite bike by far. It is comfortable and somewhat larger but it rides really well. It is a really heavy bike and that huge 72t sprocket gears it low but that will change in the near future for sure. I will try to post updates as I go.
