My Cat 400x

Hey everybody. About 2 weeks ago, I picked up a Cat 400x that was not running. I immediately jumped on it and started working. :hammer: I know the engine is not original, and it is missing parts like fenders, etc. I did get it running, and it runs very well. I also made my own brakes. It's not 100% original, but it rides. It is an awesome addition to my collection and I hope to paint it very soon.

Hey Motorboy,

I like that.

I'd much rather see a mini goin' down the street with a non original motor , than to see a rolling chassis leaning up against something wanting a motor !

And a vintage Briggs and Stratton motor looks good on any mini bike !

Well done & good for you.! Its always a good feeling of accomplishment when you can get an old mini running again. I like the Briggs too. I run them on most of my Cat bikes.

I am thinking I'll paint. I am also probably going to get a new clutch, just going to paint some of my other projects first.
