Here you go Mike. I bought this bike back around 2009, give or take a year. I found it on CL for a great price in Atlanta. I had been looking for a while after a Manco Thunderbird I had got stolen. The guy i bought it from had never taken at off road. From my understanding, he would only occasionally ride it around the parking lot at the storage unit complex where he stored it. So, it was in incredible shape when i bought. Black powder coat, with red fenders.
Things i did/modded...
1. Built the zeppelin looking seat with mountain bike shock for a little suspension.
2. Removed the fenders and painted them black with yellow stripe.
3. Painted the yellow accents on the TAV cover.
4. Added running light and tail light (made bracket to hold momentary switch that operates when you press the foot brake.)
5. Added blinkers (I've since removed the blinkers, since i don't cruise the road anymore)
6. Made a chain tensioner out of a skateboard wheel. The skateboard wheel came off the tiny skateboard deck i used as my
seat pan.
7.Wrapped the pedals in diamond plate aluminum for more grip.
8. Cut a piece of diamond plate aluminum to go where the HP sticker used to be.
9. Changed sprocket to 60 tooth, for a little more top end and to keep the front wheel on the ground. (Beast was a torque
monster with that huge sprocket.
