Plastic Camshaft On My Briggs And Stratton 3.5 H.P

They use plastic cams on a lot of stuff now. If you want to weld o one, just use an old cam in your new engine. Or if your going to leave it stock, it's better to use the plastic cam for less spinning weight.

You know, nothing makes me miss ''the good ol' days'' more than when I see stuff like this, whatever happened to building stuff to last and with quality, and craftsmanship?

thanks, but i have an old 1957 B&S 6B-S with a suction carb that i use for parts now, i have the cam from it, it's in great shape for being such an old engine. :smile:

I just watched that video as I am now on a good computer....
...Somehow I don't think his "engine made supercharger" is making any power, more like using power. I think someone already tried that back in the 20's.
