Never really thought of this but when using a Jackshaft, what is the correct placement for the 2 gears. Mine has a small gear and a larger gear? Which goes where??? Thanx
On my Taco it was 12 teeth on the clutch to 12 teeth on the jackshaft, then 14 teeth from the jackshaft to to 60 teeth on the rear sprocket. Other than that I am a newbie myself. Hope this helps,
I have a Fox with a jackshaft, 12 tooth clutch to 18 tooth on the jackhaft. from there it has a 12 tooth on the j-shaft to a 66 toother on the rear wheel. Not much on speed, but it will climb a wall!
