Model cars..man I forgot all about that.

I was going to buy one a few weeks ago and put it together. 19.99 for a model! they were 3 bucks when I was a kid.

I still have some of my stuff from growing up.
Hop rod gas pogo stick

model cars

Revell slot car track

Cox gas powered trikes-- see on slot car track
And that yellow ball on top of the model cars, my dad used to get those for me in the 60's. You would unravel the ball and find small cracker jack sized toys in the rolls of the ball. That one is a new one I found.

CKLW, The Motor City

Wow, you just brought back some old memories for me. (70's)

1/ Riding around in my dad's truck with the AM radio tuned to 900 CKLW
(no music genres, just listened to what was on and dealt with it)
2/ Going to dump trash at the landfill in such said truck
3/ Working out on the farm
4/ Ridiculous snow blizzards of mid-70's
5/ Parking along dirt roads, bs'ing, and getting drunk.(80's)

Digging underground forts. And finding 3 other underground forts that were better then ours and having the guts to invade them (Hoping no bigger kids were inside)
