Ok so much uncle who is in his 50s had this mini bike as a child. This mini bike was in great shape before I took it out of the barn. It was way in the back and hadn't run in over 30 years. So I pulled it out just to see if the motor turned over and what a know its smooth and steady. RUST now you'd think it would be covered in it but being in the barn all this time has kept her up. The paint was solid a lil surface rust but nothing rusted out. And the best thing is all the original parts are here nothings missing nothings even bent or busted.
1. I disabled the entire bike and cleaned it 30 years of dust and oil NASTY.
2.I took the motor off and disabled taking off everything on the fly wheel side even the] magneto witch I need a new one.
3. I hand sanded the entire frame plate and fenders and primered white for now.
4. Cleaned the Carb and fuel delivery system tank and filter.
Now I'm waiting on parts and I have big plans for this lil bike.
PLANS SO FAR.Cold air intake new magneto new fuel line and a new Harley style exhaust new tires also. Here's some pics I hope to have her done by March so I can go out and ride.
