I have a rupp balck widow on the motor there is a plate
Model HS4055355C Serial Number 10620
the bike appears to be pretty original tires are Rupp Motor Cross 3-12
front fender chrome back gloss black both rims are chrome
seat original motor good compression but needs carb work
original motor right side Rupp Industries Mansfield Oh left cover TC-1 Torque Converter

How can I find out what year this is and I am thinking its best kept as close to original as can be?

Any suggestions?

the rupp blackwidow was only made in 1971

Second number in the serial number will be a two if its a original Blackwidow.Serial number tag is under the seat for the frame ID. What carburetor is on it.

Hey Minibikedude where can I find the Rupp ID # code breakdown ?In have two Rupps and have never seen how it translates .
