Rupp roadster jack shaft questions? Please help

I am getting ready to install the jack shaft on my 1968 rupp roadster. There was no chain on it when I bought it and I am not sure how to set it up. There is a clutch on the engine and a clutch on the jackshaft. Does someone have a picture of one of these set up. I tryed to find a pic myself but you can not see them through the clutch covers on most of these bikes.

2 Speed Jackshaft Illustrations

Your Rupp has a two-speed jackshaft. Several sharp members recently refined my understanding of these, which improved the accuracy of my illustration, and allowed me to illustrate a second type.

Comet: the jackshaft clutch shoes face the chains, such as my Sears mini had.

Fairbanks: the jackshaft clutch shoes face away from the chains. Page 4 compares the two designs.

Thank you for the info. It was helpful. One more question though. I only have room for one chain. Is this correct? On my TT500 there are two chains.
