I have a 1971 Speedway Shark mini bike with a very tired 3-hp Techumseh engine. I'm thinking of swapping the engine to a new $99.00 China unit from Harbor Freight. I'm concerned because my engine is mounted at an angle, the Techumseh intake manifold is angled so the carb float is level. If I mount the Harbor Freight engine the carb float will be angled, I'm concerned it won't run right. Any suggestions for an engine swap on a Speedway mini bike?
