Does anyone know if these can be ran without a belt pulley system coming off of the engine??

that pulley is the driven clutch of a torque converter and yess you coold pull the clutch out and replace it with a gear but getting ahold of a torque converter driver clutch and using it like it is, woold be a better rout. that bike origenaly had a tecumseh so an old hs50 woold be a good engine choice. so what are your plans for this bike?

not sure what my plans are at this point.. ive got so many projects right now i dont even know where to start
