Super quick question on shaft size

Well, I just got an old 5 horse Briggs and to tell you the truth I don't know the shaft size. It seems like 1", but is that normal for a 5 HP?

yes, some came with 1" shafts.

That looks like a 3/4" shaft......

a measuring tape would sure help you measure...... or you could go by eye and screw the tape,

anyways, looks like a 3/4 to me
