Baja Torque Converter Pros and Cons

I was just wondering what are the good things about torque converters and the bad things about them.

Well I saw a you tube video once of a stock baja warrior that had a comet 30 series TAV on it and it was gps-ed at 45mph. I would consider that to be a pro.

I've seen them with tav and doing wheelies and speeding around. Only gains to be had

Wondering which is better. Some say TC2 is better some say Comet 30 TAV is better.

But...considering how slow the bike is geared with the stock jack shaft, you need something better.

The 2 options I am aware of and considering for my own Baja Warrior are the Pro Mod jack shaft kit from Hot Rod Mini Bikes, or a Comet Torqu-A-Verter available at OldMiniBikes Warehouse.

Is a Torque Converter for Baja Warrior worth it.

I just wanted to know if a torque converter is worth paying for. Cuz i don't want to go buy a $200 torque converter to see it dosent anything.

Yes it is worth it, never heard of anyone who added one then said they didn't like it

I have a Comet on my Warrior and my son's Yerf kart has an OEM Comet setup also

Yes, it is worth it. No Tav Top end 18-19 mph, Tav 40 to 45 mph pulling hard all the way.
