Tecumseh serial # and engine question

Hello Gentlemen.

So I am starting my engine rebuild on the H35.

The serial # is HS35 4544SR Ser#6086B

the engine is aluminum. What year do you think this is? It's graphite colored and a side exhaust (popper). I am planning on boring the sleeve/cylinder .020" over. Are the aluminum ones ok?

you sure it's 4544SR, not 45445R? I checked and couldn't find the "4SR".

I will check again tonight. The shroud is pretty rusty indeed. Thanks tho' Not really a big deal if I know the year, but kinda curious. I checked the ID sticky at the heading of this section. did not really understand it so great. ok thanks

Yes it is a "5".
bolts and nuts hold on starter/recoil assembly. Stuff is rusty has hell. :-/ started trying to get some off.
