I bought the last open box Comet Torq-A-Vertor left at the Northern Tool in Tampa, and I accidently left the spacer on the display engine when I was determining if all the parts were there (no instruction or parts list either), by mocking it up. It's a TAV2, the one with the thick aluminum backing plate.
Can anybody tell me how thick the spacer you put on the engine shaft first is? This one is a 3/4" dia shaft, and it's for a 40/41 chain, if that makes a difference.
It looked to be about 3/4" thick, but I assume it's pretty critical for it to be right.
I can buy a shaft/collar from my local hardware store and cut it to the right size.
The store is about 40 miles from my house (Largo), and I don't have the spare time to go fetch it, if it's even still on the engine.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
