He is excited over my sons go kart....and the 51 Merc' street rod we almost have finished..(His)..Its got a running 51 ford flathead on functional sidepipes NO mufflers........

My Dad had a 50 ford convertible flathead three on the tree with dual smittys when I was a wee lad. Sweet sounding.

I built this car in 1979-1980. !949 merc with a 1963 Corvette 327.

We have had to do everything to this car....fiberglass 49 or 50 front end and 51 fenders
fiberglass rear quarters
metal rocker panels
MAKE a trunk
MAKE a floor pan (almost)
and it goes from there
