Dave there was a thread that was here last night that was just full of porn links. I opened the thread saw what it was, because my son was sitting right here and reported it. It STILL got my machine and I had trouble all last night with crap popping up and all. I installed spybot search and destroy, all that hahahaha's GONE!!!!!

Thanks for reporting that rudedog. I took care of it ASAP - I emailed you to say thanks, but it bounced back?

Anyhow, before you take your computer to the shop you can run a few simple programs to see if it helps.

AVG Free - Download antivirus and antispyware software for Windows XP and Vista - AVG Free Anti-Virus software. It works very well.

Ad-Aware 2008 - Reviews and free Ad-Aware 2008 downloads at Download.com

Ad-Aware by Lavasoft. Another great program, and free.

Both of these programs are very easy to use. If you have any trouble, just post here and I'll try to help.

If neither of these programs help you, I have another more advanced program that I use and I'll walk you through it.

Thanks Hent, I tried AVG, avast, AND Ad-Aware. Wahtever was infecting, would not let any of the threee completely down load, it kept kicking them out halfway through. I used SpyBot S/D, worked like a charm.

Hm,

I'll see if I still have a log of that post.

There's a program called HiJackThis that's a little bit more advanced with registry editing capabilities and such. Just incase you ever run into more problems. There are a lot of forums where you can post your output log, and they'll tell you what to delete and such.

Thanks Hent!!!!
Mom spent some time with the computer last night, appearently she got that darned bug out of there, did you find the culprit that planted it, maybe we should have cousin Gweto go to his place and plant him, whoever did that let them know that what they did wasn't very funny, and if they try it again , instead of delivering flowers, someone might be bringing a violin case, I love my DELL, spent alot of money on it, I take it personally when someone tries to damage it!!!!
