A little more info on that 820. I just learned that some of the "industrial" 820's also had porting differences, so just changing the head gasket will likely not bring the HP all the way to 10, but it still would still help a lot if you have the thick gasket in there now.
I was wrong. I listened to someone that thought they knew and they didn't. From the horse's mouth(Dave Bonbright), all 820's(pre Vintage 820 around 2011) came with the same porting and power was varied only by the thickness of the head gasket(maybe a couple of applications used a 3/4" rather than the 7/8" carb) as I originally thought.
