What ever happened to the old school Chopper Pipes?

What ever happened to the old school Chopper Pipes? I remember back in the 60's my friend had a 3 hp Lil Indian. He put a chopper pipe on it that went down and back along the bottom of the frame. it sounded "cool".
I had a Ruttman with a chopper pipe that went down, along the bottom, then up along the frame to the seat height. I took an old chrome vacuum cleaner tube (remember those?) and stuck it in the pipe for some extra length. It came up behind my back. That really sounded "COOL". I haven't seen any of those in decades. What happened to all of them?

Here is the Only picture I have of my Ruttman, although you can't see much of it as I'm in the way, but you can see the vacuum cleaner tube sticking up in the air. This was taken in 1969 as I remember that Lincoln. My friend watching me is still a very great friend. He also has a minibike to this day. We ride together once in a while. Two 65 year old kids cruising around on minibikes :)

I'm afraid if someone did make them, They would want $150 for them. How many guys would buy them?
At the time that ad was out, $26.95 was a lot of cash... An entire minibike cost $100. 27% of the cost of the bike for and exhaust was a lot of money.

Makes me wonder were all those pipes are now though. I really liked my pipe. It came out from the engine then straight down to the frame, then along the frame and up the back of the bike. Yeah, you could get burned on it but that just made you aware of it and you knew to stay away from it. People now a days are Not smart enough to stay away from things. They want to sew somebody if they hurt themselves being stupid.

Holy crap that's cool. Where the hell are they at now.......
They are so cool...I like the way the stacks follow the same angle as the sissy bar so they can be used together.

...I bet some auction buyer/hoarder/collector somewhere has a whole shelf full of them, and they probably wonder what in the world those things belong to.......
