Wheel replacement for my Cat 250x

#1
Looking for a little help. The wheels on the Cat 250x I just purchased are on their last legs. Are there any aftermarket options that are easy to swap in? I don't mind making up spacers and such, but the less work the better.

Thanks!

Unfortunately they're rusted through around the valve stems. :(

I really like the Azusalites since this will be a kids bike with a 79cc motor, Im just not sure what sprocket Id need to get.

Maybe post in the wanted section of the classifieds that you need some Cat wheels or just the halves. There were a few sets for sale there recently that would be cheaper than buying new after market ones that you'd have to use spacers on.

If you run Azusalites(Plastic rims) you can run 4.00-5 tires
like these Chinese pocketbike tires below(Scrub brakes will work).
That will allow you to use a standard 72 tooth sprocket
with an Azusa triangle spacer.

....That's an original Cat 250X wheel on the right.
