Where do YOU buy keyed shafting

I've been looking, a little help would be great.


Need 5/8" keyed shaft 42" - 48" long

Need them to ship International & take Pay-Pal.

Any Ideas??

Hmmm, maybe check with OldMiniBikes warehouse and see where they buy their stock or maybe they can get longer lengths? :shrug:

You could talk to a machine shop and see if they could mill a slot in a piece of round stock that lenght. Most shafts are a mild steel.

Some machine shop's are real good And you have a great idea.

But the machine shop here is $$75 - 80.00 an hour !

I can get it off line, an have it shipped here for less.


just can't remember where I got the stuff last time.

Yup, regular Schwinn chopper, Adult trike rear-end, moded out to have a 5hp Honda in it.

Going to be fun, been working on it all summer.
