Im trying to take out the emulsion tube so i can add my stage 1 kit but it wont budge. I have a predator 212 "hemi". Its pretty new, if that means anything. I cant get the tube to fall out and dont want to break it trying to get it out. Any tips that are sure to work?
I installed a predator 212 on a go kart project I'm working on and I got a stage one upgrade kit which includes 36 & 37 jets and a larger emulsion tube, when I installed the air filter kit it was so lean it wouldn't start so i swapped in the 36 jet and it ran good, then I swapped in the larger...

Hello all. I'm new to the site, new to mini bikes and new to working on any kind of motor. Recently purchased a motovox mbx10, replaced the motor with a predator 212, and added a header, intake kit and jets. The problem I'm having is removing the stock emulsion tube. I've removed the stock jet...
I have a predator 212cc. I milled the head .050 and have a mod 2 cam, 8 degree key,140 emulsion and 18lbs springs and billet flywheel, bored out carb to match the stock butterfly. Currently I have a 36 jet should I get a bigger one and what kind of fuel should I run with all this.
hey guys ive search everywhere on here but had some questions about jettings
i have a 212cc predator with a milled head .050 and board out the carb, mod 2 cam,no gov,18lbs springs and 140 emulsion. currently i have a 36 jet but i havnt fired it yet. do you think i need to go bigger?? i also am...
I was looking to rejet the carb & replace the emulsion tube in a Baja warrior however I couldn't get the emulsion tube to come out. Any thoughts? I've never not had them just fall out once the jet was removed. I tried tapping and pushing it down with a piece of wire from the top but nothing...
A buddy gave me a gc 160, cleaned up the inside of the air box and around the carb. Is it essential to use the emulsion tube? Does it act as a fuel filter or a fuel regulator. I did not note where it went, does it go inside the fuel line entering the fuel pump?
Can any one please tell me how many holes a gx140 emulsion tube is it 8 medium holes, 4 small holes and 2 large holes at the very end?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
the stock tube can be soldered shut ,but you need a carbrator set of numbered drill bits to clean the tube up after soldering , and a 140 tube to compare it to . works great
we know you can drill the jet , why can,t you drill the emulsion tube? the only difference i can see is the larger hole on the 140 ? is it possible to drill the stock tube ?
I've been having a lean problem on my 6 HP Powersport. I'm thinking the end of the plastic emulsion tube that protrudes into the throat of the carb is closed off.
Is this supposed to be open? I'm thinking it is. How else would it draw fuel from the bowl?
If it is supposed to be open, any...
hey gents, just looking through the AGK webpage, Affordable Go Karts - Home page - AGK - http://www.affordablegokarts.com and was wanting to rejet the carb on my 5.5 clone. They sell a #90 jet and emulsion tube. Has anyone done this? worth the money? or is it a waste. Thanks in advance. BTW...
