Why is it necessary to have five posts before you can contact another member or post to the classifieds ?

you need 3 posts to send PMs to people and 5 to post a thread in the classified sections. that's not many and i'm sure there are threads "you" can post in. if you make bullcrap posts just so you can send a PM or sell something, they will be deleted. :thumbsup:
