Hi guys. I'm finally starting rebuilding my harrison wildcat from my childhood. It was originally fitted with a salsbury 330 driver and driven. The driven survives but driver is long lost. So what are my options?
I've seen the gtc 340.. is this a direct replacement? Any good?

A few months ago i bought a Wisconsin AKS engine off a fellow who had a Tote Gote knockoff. The engine came with a large Salsbury clutch on it. I want to remove the clutch, but don't want to destroy it if possible. The clutch appears to be a variable speed unit with a second part it connects to...
I have come to the conclusion that this is a 500 series. I can't quite make out the markings due to pitting. I tried sanding the surface, but it didn't seem to help much. I need to remove the clutch so I can rebuild the engine and clean and lube the clutch too.
I have scratched my head for...
Looking for a salsbury variable speed belt driver clutch 330 series that takes a 5/8 belt. Would of come on some tecumseh engined mini bikes. Any parts also would be helpful example nylon sliders. Clutch would be early 1970's. Thanks Garry
I picked up a new Salsbury 700 series driver and now I need a driven to go with it... will a Comet 40, 44 or 500 driven match up to it? if not what Salsbury Driven will match up? will a Golf cart driven match up? This is my first Salsbury so I'm not sure what will work together..
Working on a few DMP Trailchamp mini bikes and have a couple of questions I hope someone can help me with. All bikes have differant than original engines. One has a 6hp tecumseh with lighting coil. It is using a comet clutch with salsbury secondary variable speed belt drive. The other has a...
The $40 SketchyTrike I picked up over the weekend has a Salsbury Corp. 500 Series driver clutch for its torque converter system. It is misbehaving (I think) and I'm not sure what I should do.
It seems to want to throw the movable sheave at the belt WAY too soon (like at...
Hi, new to the forum. I had ordered a car part a long time ago, the box came and I put it on the shelf for a long period. Unfortunately, the box was repackaged by postal services with a 'sorry note' stuffed inside. So my hub is long gone and I have this part. I have no idea what its worth, I...
Looking for a fixed sheave for a Salsbury 400 clutch. Willing to buy/trade for a complete clutch if that is the only way to get one.
Any help appreciated!

I've got an 8 hp briggs in a bearkat, with a Salsbury clutch. I think need a different drive belt. The bike won't freewheel, and the belt appears to short and too wide. No # on the old belt. I've seen a guide for Comet clutches, but not a Salsbury. Any ideas?
