starter

I'm looking for a working B&S starter rewind ( spring, pulley, rope, shroud) Model 091212 Type 021901 Code 960724FA, 3.5 hp. used on an edger. OR, suggestions on how/what I need to do to fix the rewind. I replaced the starter clutch. Thank you very much. :shrug:

I just ordered a flywheel screen and it wont fit because my recoil cup? sticks out too far. What is the best way to fix this?

I been playing round with some old round top covers and converting them to the newer cup style starters for a couple modded 5ers.... The clutch or ratchet style recoils don't hold up well to added compression and rpms as well..... This cover still needs a little body work and it's ready to paint..

How hard should an H50 be to pull start. I broke 3 pull ropes today. I'd like to think I have really good compression but I'm not sure if that's it.:shrug: When the piston rings are new, does that make a difference ?
