Does anyone need a Gas tank for resto? I'm about to turn it into a battery cover for my lights, but it's original Roper so if someone needs it let me know. I'm in no hurry to chop it. it's cosmetic. Still need a place for switches and such.

I would like to remove the gas tank from my predator engine and add a custom one to the frame. How would I do this? I cant figure out how to remove the gas line from the carb

Wise, not so wise? What kind of prep should be done, assuming lots of gas is probably embedded in the plastic? What KIND of paint is best to use? I'm sure that some paint, if not all would run immediately upon contact with gas. Any thoughts, opinions, no no's, pros cons?

hey guys, I have my briggs and stratton tank and the inside is super clean, it's only rusty on the reserve pick up for the carb, my motors freshly rebuilt so I don't want to suck up any c:censure:p. can i use naval jelly to get the rust out of the reserve? or does any one else have any better...
