212cc clone mounting question.

Will there be any problems mounting, and running, a 212 Predator with a forward lean like the old B&S and Tecumseh engines?

We run a 15 degree motor mount on karts...
How much of a angle you thinking?

No none what so ever . Their run on karts at 15 degrees all the time . I have one on my rupp at that angle and no problems. Just need to run a little more oil . I run around 15-16 ounces .

Perfect example right there. Those OHV motors are so damn ugly, you all have to make them look like old flatheads. :laugh: Speaking of which, a real motor (Briggs flattie) running at 15 degrees requires 14 OZ instead of the 12 it uses when mounted flat.

I'm thinking it will be around 15 to 20 degrees.I have a 3.5 flattie, but I'm not sure if it's worth trying to rebuild and use.
