Carlisle Tractor Tire Help

I was wondering if anybody knew how to get a 16 x 5.50 - 8 tire. The ones I have now are from the mid-60's and are pretty much dry-rotted. I would prefer a tube tire but a tubeless one would work too. The original brand was Carlisle but any brand will work good now.

I have 19" Carlisles on my flat track motorcycle. They're ancient. I haven't ridden the bike in over 10 years and they were old then. I wanna get it going once more before I'm too old. I sure would like to find another set.

I put a set of carlilse field trax on the front of mine and love them but I cant seem to find that size now I almost think they stopped making them that small (16x6.50x8).

I would like to get a set for the back but they are expensive so I'll just have to wait for now.

Try contacting sales@tiretown.com their site showed 16 x 5.50 tires. They carry alot of different style tires, maybe they have what your'e looking for.

The carlisle tire site has the tractor tread tires in 6.50 and 4.80 width. Look under big biters/ power trac.

I found some on ebay with the same stud tire and size. Heres the link, I was told these will work fine with my rim. And they're not like the Sears ones being sold for $50 each.

Overstockwheels is a really good source for tires. I've bought over a dozen from them and have had no problems or issues with them.

I have a set of 4.80-4.00-8 carlisle tires with rims of a simplicity sno blower in good cond.
Would they be something you could use?
